Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 3, 2026
TubeTraveler (the “Service”) values user privacy and complies with applicable laws. The Service has no sign-up and does not collect identifying information such as your name or email on its own servers. However, the Service uses third-party providers — including Google AdSense (advertising), Google Analytics (usage measurement), and YouTube (embedded video) — which set cookies and process certain data such as device identifiers and IP addresses, as described below.
Article 1 (Data Processed and Purpose)
The Service has no sign-up process and does not collect identifying information such as name, phone number, or email. However, the minimal technical data below is processed to provide the Service reliably.
| Item | Storage Location | Purpose | Retention Period |
|---|---|---|---|
| Favorites list | User's device (localStorage) | Provide per-user favorites feature | Until browser data is cleared |
| Service access logs | Hosting infrastructure (Vercel) | System security and service stability | Per infrastructure operating policy |
| Cookies & device/usage identifiers, IP address | Google (AdSense, Analytics), YouTube | Advertising, traffic measurement, video playback | Per each provider's policy |
| Anonymous usage events (e.g. cam views/plays) | TubeTraveler's own database (no cookies or device/user identifiers) | Aggregate ranking of popular live cams | Individual events deleted after 90 days |
Note: A user's favorites are stored only in that user's own browser and are never transmitted to or shared with the operator's servers.
Article 2 (Third-Party Services)
The Service relies on the following external services to provide stable functionality. Each platform's own privacy policy may apply when you interact with it.
- Google AdSense (Google LLC): Displays ads. Google and its partners may use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other websites. See How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- Google Analytics (Google LLC): Measures aggregate traffic and usage via cookies and identifiers.
- TubeTraveler's own usage-event log: Separately from Google Analytics, the Service records a small set of anonymous, aggregate events (e.g. that a cam was viewed or played) in its own database to determine which live cams are currently popular. This log does not use cookies and does not store IP addresses, device identifiers, or any other identifying information — only the event type, an optional cam ID, and a timestamp.
- YouTube (Google LLC): Embedded live video. YouTube may set cookies for playback and analytics (subject to YouTube's and Google's privacy policies).
- OpenStreetMap: Map tiles and place search (Nominatim).
- Vercel Inc.: Service hosting and infrastructure operations.
Article 3 (Cookies, Advertising, and Your Choices)
- Advertising cookies: This Service shows ads via Google AdSense, which uses cookies to serve and personalize ads, subject to applicable legal requirements in your jurisdiction (including the EEA, UK, and Switzerland).
- Analytics cookies: Google Analytics uses cookies to understand aggregate, non-identifying usage patterns.
- Opt out: You can control or disable personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info, or clear/block cookies in your browser settings at any time.
- Favorites: Your favorites are stored only in your own browser (localStorage) and are never sent to our servers.
Article 4 (Children's Privacy)
The Service is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the EEA, where applicable). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the Service, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Article 5 (Your Rights and Choices)
Users may opt out of the Service's data processing at any time by leaving the Service or clearing their browser data. Because the Service does not retain user information on its servers, users have direct control without any separate access, correction, or deletion request process.
If you are in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, applicable data-protection law (GDPR / UK GDPR) gives you the rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw consent at any time by using the opt-out links in Article 3 or contacting us at the email address in Article 6. Where our advertising and analytics partners act as controllers, you may also exercise these rights with them directly.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — your local Data Protection Authority in the EEA, or the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) in the UK. If you are a California resident, you may exercise your rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including opting out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information via the opt-out links in Article 3.
Article 6 (Privacy Officer and Contact)
If you have any questions or feedback regarding privacy while using the Service, please contact us at the address below.
- Privacy Officer: Administrator

Article 7 (Changes to This Policy)
This policy may be amended due to changes in law, security technology, or service operating policy. Any additions, deletions, or amendments will be announced promptly via an in-service notice or a link at the bottom of the website.
